Bearing Unit Replacement Identification Guide

A third-party or legacy model number can be a useful search key, but it is not enough to prove a replacement. Treat the code as the first clue, then compare the machine interface.

Dimensions that decide the fit

For pillow blocks: bore, centre height, base length, bolt spacing and insert width. For flange units: bore, flange outline, bolt pitch and projection. Also record lock type and seal arrangement.

When markings are incomplete

Use a straight-on housing photo, a side view and a few measured dimensions. Old machines may contain non-original parts, so the installed geometry should outrank assumptions about the original bill of materials.

Brand-specific pages

The cross-reference hub organises buyer identification pages by commonly encountered third-party brand. Each page keeps the same rule: reference for identification and selection convenience, then verify dimensions before ordering.
