Cross-reference

EVER POWER & Timken Housed Bearing Cross-Reference Guide

For a Timken housed-bearing replacement, begin with the physical housing and shaft connection. The buyer may have a complete unit reference, a housing reference or only a worn casting with partial markings, so the workflow needs to work even when the original code is incomplete.

Build an interface sketch

For a base-mounted unit, draw the shaft centreline and record bore, centre height, base length, bolt spacing and mounting-hole diameter. For a flange, record the outside envelope, number of bolts, hole spacing and projection from the mounting face.

Check what locks the insert

Photograph the inner ring and any collar or adapter hardware. A housing that fits the bolt pattern can still be unsuitable if the shaft-locking arrangement or insert width is different from the installed unit.

Replacement evidence to send

Attachment What it answers
Overall machine photo Where the unit sits and how access is constrained
Housing close-up Mounting form and condition
Marking close-up Original Timken reference when readable
Dimension sketch Bore, centre height/flange pattern and envelope
Application note Speed, environment, shock and maintenance access

With those details, an EVER POWER proposal can be discussed around the real machine interface. Do not rely on a cross-reference table alone for safety-critical or heavily modified equipment.

On the EVER POWER & Timken Housed Bearing Cross-Reference Guide page, third-party names are used only to identify an existing bearing, compare references or support product selection. Final replacement selection should be confirmed from dimensions, locking method and the actual machine interface.
