UCP Bearing Units for France | Pillow Block & Flange Selection
English-language product selection and RFQ guidance for local machinery buyers.
French agricultural and food-machinery projects use the same core bearing decisions as other European equipment: shaft size, mounting orientation, locking method, contamination and documentation. The market page therefore stays focused on those engineering and purchasing inputs rather than switching the site into French or adding country-name filler.

Terminology and product identification
All body copy remains English. A local phrase such as “palier à semelle” may be shown only as a product-identification/search term for a pillow block; the technical family remains EP-UCP or another specific housing type.
Industries and bearing-unit decisions
| Industry | Typical equipment | Series to review | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|---|
| Agricultural machinery | Harvesting, baling, tillage and conveying equipment | EP-UCP, eccentric-lock and flange families | Dust, mud, shock and seasonal service |
| Food machinery | Conveyors, packaging and processing auxiliaries | Plastic-housing or corrosion-sensitive configurations | Cleaning chemistry, lubricant and hygiene zone |
| General machinery | Driven shafts, rollers and machine frames | EP-UCP, EP-UCF and EP-UCFL | Mounting envelope, speed and replacement geometry |
| Material handling | Belt and chain conveyors | EP-UCP, EP-UCT and EP-UCFC | Fixed/take-up position and maintenance access |
Choose by interface, not by translated product name
For a base-mounted unit, measure shaft diameter, centre height and bolt spacing. For a flange unit, record flange shape and hole pitch. If a European machine already has an established supplier code, include it for identification, but compare the dimensions and locking arrangement before choosing the EP model.
European-project documentation
If the buyer requires a material declaration, inspection report or project-specific compliance document, list it in the quotation request. Do not treat a general website statement as a substitute for the requested document. For food or washdown equipment, the cleaning procedure and lubricant specification are part of selection and should be stated explicitly.
Where to start in the EVER POWER range
EP-UCP is the base-mounted starting family. EP-UCF and EP-UCFL are useful where the shaft passes through a machine side plate, while EP-UCT serves adjustable tensioning positions.
For French projects, use the dimensional tables as a screening tool, then confirm the exact ordered configuration from the machine interface and duty. When a third-party model number is supplied, it is treated as an identification input rather than proof of exact compatibility.
Frequently asked questions
Will this page switch to French?
No. The entire site remains English. French terminology is included only as a short identification aid.
Which flange family saves mounting space?
EP-UCFL uses an oval two-bolt flange; compare its actual hole pitch and housing envelope with the machine drawing before selection.
What information should a food-machinery RFQ include?
State the shaft and mounting dimensions, cleaning / washdown conditions, lubricant requirements, material preferences, quantity and required documents.
